Berry School of Arts is presenting the best of cultural art experiences for
Berry and the Shoalhaven.
The Berry Art Fest will be held over a number of
weekends throughout the year culminating in a tutor/student exhibition in

The Berry Art Fest will involve a number of
leading Australian artists, teaching their techniques and skills to local, and
visiting creative students, who are interested in exploring new ideas, gaining
expertise and expanding their creativity in visual arts.
We are committed to forging a creative focus at
The Berry School of Arts this year and in the future years.
Please find below the workshop dates, and the
tutors web addresses where available.
Ros Psakis
I paint in an impressionist style (oils) but do not distort Nature. I see no
reason to. Nature has all the answers, and cannot be improved or altered.
My paintings
are usually completed in one sitting. I work very quickly and like to
finish in one go without losing my 'momentum'. Many different subjects appeal
to me. Landscapes, figures, still life, animals, flowers etc.
Everything can be painted if the light is right. It is the light that
either catches or loses my attention. If the light on a subject is right, then
that object becomes magic and worthy of painting.
